Meyer tosses no-hitter in Tri-County fastball
Former Elora resident Matt Meyer threw a no-hitter on June 6 against Chippewa for Charing Cross in the Tri-County Bantam Fastball League.
Meyer gave up one walk and two batters reached base on errors in the game.
He struck out seven and retired the last 11 batters in a row. He also led off the Charing Cross offence with a single in the first.
The game ended 11-0.
