Metz Pumpkinfest this weekend
METZ – The annual Metz Pumpkinfest is set for Sept 24.
The event will run rain or shine with Pumpkin weigh-in from 3:30 to 4:30pm.
Music and a barbecue are on the schedule for between 5 and 6:30pm.
Free will donations to the Pumpkinfest or Canadian Food Grains Bank will be accepted.
The event will include family and children activities including the popular “Pumpkin Cannon.’
Hamburgers, hot dogs and dessert will be available or visitors can bring a picnic lunch.
Organizers recommend attendees bring lawn chairs.
