Merrick, Gerald “Gerry”; passed away at Caressant Care in Harriston, Ontario on Monday, November 14th, 2011 in his 66th year. Gerry will be greatly missed by his siblings Nancy (Terry) Parks, Pat (Karen) Merrick, sister-in-law Coleen Merrick, Peter (Ann) Merrick, Mary (Gilbert) Vervoort, Shelagh (Dave) Rheinhardt and John (Nancy) Merrick. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Gerry was predeceased by his parents Leo and Anne and also by brothers Michael and Robert as well as his sister-in-law Lucia. Visitation for Gerry will be held on Thursday, November 17th from 7-9pm, Friday November 18th from 2-4 and 7-9pm and the Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Elora on Saturday, November 19th at 1pm. Burial will be at St. Mary - St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Elora immediately following the service.
