Meinen, Gerda; Peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Monday, August 6, 2012 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Henry Meinen (2008). Dear mother of John and Heather Meinen of Georgetown, Bill Meinen of Arthur and Ingrid and Kevin Gurgacz of Barrie. Loving grandma of Jeff, Wayne and Daryl Meinen and Chris, Tyler and Andrew Gurgacz. Cherished great grandmother of Emma and Evan. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home, 243 George St., Arthur on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m in the Crawford Chapel. Interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur followed. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family.
