McTAVISH, John A. Peacefully on May 18th, 2015 at his home. Loving husband and best friend of Brenda for 27 years. Will be forever missed by his sons Michael, Andrew, Robert and David. Fondly remembered by his sister Marilyn (Don) Griffiths and brother Gord (Shelley) McTavish, also by sisters-in-law Barb (Morris) Lavigne and Lorraine (Don) Hayden and brother-in-law Chris (Kathy) Thring. John will be missed by many nieces, nephews and other family members. Predeceased by his parents Stewart and Mirjam McTavish. Visitation will take place at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St South, Fergus on Thursday, May 21st, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm & 7:00 – 9:00 pm, and on Friday, May 22nd, 2015 from 11:00 – 12:45 pm, a funeral service for John will take place at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
