McPherson, S. Mervin; Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks Home for Seniors, Shelburne on Friday, June 8th, 2012 in his 80th year; beloved husband of Anne Wolfe; loving father of Scott and Jill and Perry and Sylvie; predeceased by his infant daughter (1965); cherished poppa of Evelyn, Keith, Olivia, Grace, Mathew, Kaitlyn (2011) and Robert. Mervin will be greatly missed by other relatives and friends. The family received friends at Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First St., Orangeville (519-941-1392) on Sunday, June 10th, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service was held in the chapel on Monday, June 11th, 2012 at 11am. Interment followed at Union Cemetery, Grand Valley. Memorial donations in memory of Mervin may be made to Knox Presbyterian Church, Grand Valley, Dufferin Oaks Home for Seniors or Alzheimer Society. A tree will be planted in memory of Mervin in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
