McLean, Robert; Peacefully at Caressant Care, Fergus, on February 20, 2009 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Gladys. Loving father of Shirley Jones and her husband James of Puslinch, Robert McLean and his wife Marlene of Fergus and the late Gladys Marie Geisel and her husband Gerald Giesel. Proud grandfather of Shirley McKenna (Wayne), Sherry Rooyakkers (John), Richard Jones (Sharon), Jason Jones (Kimberley), Jeff McLean (Melissa) and Peter McLean. Great grandfather of Nikki Rooyakkers (Corey), Matthew Rooyakkers, Tyler McKenna, Tiffani McKenna and Ashley Jones.  Survived by sister Ruth O’Sullivan and predeceased by sisters Irene, Dorothy, Audrey and brother Charlie.  Friends were received at the THOMSON FUNERAL HOME (160 St. David Street N., Fergus, 519-843-2380) on Monday, February 23 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A service was held in the chapel at 1:30pm on Tuesday, February 24. Burial followed at Belsyde Cemetery. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
