McKEE John On Saturday, May 5, 2018, John Fleming McKee went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, peacefully in his 98th year, at home on the farm in Mapleton Township where he was born on May 3, 1921. Father of Randall McKee and Kenneth McKee. Grandfather of Joachim Brandt and Viviane Girardin, and Ian and Heidi Brandt, and great-grandfather of Helena, Johann, Emma, and Sophie. Brother-in-law of Lillian McKee of St. Jacobs, and Eva McKee of London. John was predeceased by his wife Ruth (Lavery) McKee in 1963, by his daughter Judith Brandt (2008) and her husband Klaus, and by his son Ross McKee (2015). John was the last surviving child of Alexander and Blanche (Humphries) McKee, being predeceased also by his brothers Jim, Gerald, Russell, Wellington Roy ‘Bud’, Archie, and David, and by his sisters Doreen Neill, and Lillian McDonald. Visitation will be held at New Covenant Mennonite Fellowship, Glen Allan on Thursday May 10 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Glen Allan Cemetery.
