McGinn event raises $4,700 for minor hockey and lacrosse
Fergus native and NHL star Jamie McGinn held an event in his home town on June 9 benefitting the minor hockey and lacrosse associations in Centre Wellington.
Dozens of kids from the area attended “Ginner Gives Back Day” at Dixon’s Home Hardware in Fergus.
The event included autograph and photo opportunities, as well as a barbecue, sales of specialized “Ginner 11” T-shirts and a game of road hockey, with all proceeds supporting local Sports teams.
