McBRIDE, Wayne Keith – of Guelph, formerly from Fergus and Grand Valley. Beloved son of the late Garfield and Velma (Collier) McBride. Dear brother of Orma (Jim) Prentice of Guelph and Jean (Ted) Farrelly of Alma. Uncle to Brian Prentice, Kathy Prentice, Linda (Jeff) Scott, Cheryl (Bill) Redman, Kevin (Jackie) Farrelly. Great Uncle to 8 nieces and nephews, a Great-Great nephew and niece, and a friend to many wonderful staff members at LaPointe Fisher Nursing Home. The Toronto Maple Leafs have lost a most dedicated, faithful fan for the past 74 years! Friends were received at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, Ontario on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00pm with a funeral service in the chapel at 2:00pm, Doug Sargent officiated. Wayne loved his furry friends, and in remembrance of him donations may be directed to the Guelph Humane Society, or Cats Anonymous – Marsville.
