CENTRE WELLINGTON – Centre Wellington Mayor Shawn Watters distributed plaques signifying buildings with heritage designation during a Heritage Centre Wellington meeting on April 8.

Dale and Lori Clarke received a plaque from Heritage Centre Wellington on April 8 in recognition of their property at 101 St. Andrew St. W. in Fergus receiving heritage designation. The property is a landmark in downtown Fergus and contains a cafe, commercial spaces and residential units above.

Shawn Barnes, left, and Tanya Chapman’s historic home at 177 Chalmers St. in Elora also received heritage designation this year.
