Maude, Doris (nee Selby); It is with great sadness that the family of Doris Maude announces her sudden passing at Groves Memorial Hospital November 8th, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Bob Maude (1985). Beloved mother of Dianne (Larry) Smeltzer, Janine (John) Allan, Beverley (Greg) Lustic, Robin (Doug Russell), Patricia (John) Downs, Bob Maude (Susan Hall). Doris is survived by her three brothers Jack and Jim Selby, Doug (Gay) Selby and sister-in-law Merle Selby. Loving Grams to nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Doris will be remembered by many nieces and nephews and other family members. Predeceased by her grandaughters Dana and Katrina Downs her brothers Ken and Bob Selby, her two sisters Jean and Linda Selby and her sister-in-law Lynn Selby, also by her parents Ernest and Ellen Selby. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Tuesday, November 11th 7-9pm. Memorial Service was conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 12th at 2pm with the Rev. David Whitecross officiating. Interment followed at Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Groves Memorial Hospital CT scan Fund would be appreciated by the family. Cards available at the funeral home.
