Martin, Lulu Johanna (nee Thring) - Of Guelph, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, July 1, 2013, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Ross Frederick Martin (1991). Loving mother of Jane and husband Tim Morrison. Loving grandmother to Corey and Jenna. Lulu was predeceased by her son Jamie. She will be fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Joyce and Irene Thring, Marion (Ross) Harper, and several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been predeceased by her three sisters; Ella (Leslie) Wheeler, Ruby (Dalton) Atchison, and Doris (Stuart) Martin and six brothers; Gordon (Ann), Oliver (Helen), George (Olga), Clifford, William, and Jim (Alice) Thring, and sister-in-law Jean (Fred) Harper. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Friday, July 5, 2013 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. Memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
