Martial artist qualifies for Pan Ams
GUELPH - Local martial artist Nathan Skoufis, 25 has qualified for the 2019 Pan Ams set for Oct. 12-13 in Miami.
Skoufis is a member of Team Canada, 16x World Champion and 5th degree black belt. The event will draw the top martial artists representing Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, Kickboxing and Kung Fu.
Skoufis will enter the event as the #1 Ranked NASKA Welterweight fighter in the world.
Skoufis said, “I am really looking forward to competing at the Pan Am tournament and look forward to not only representing this community, as well as Canada at such a prestigious international event. It is an honoured to be ranked and to qualify for it.”
Skoufis owns Guelph Family Martial Arts and Guelph Fitness Kickboxing.
