Marlins offer baseball clinic at Palmerston diamond

Palmerston Marlins and the Provincial Women’s Softball Association, is hosting an opportunity for U10 (2005, 2006), U12 (2003, 2004) and U14 (2001, 2002) male/female house league, Rep players and coaches in the Palmerston area.

A Color Your Dream clinic will be held at the Barb Wright Park (672 Young Street)  diamonds in Palmerston on July 15 and 16.  The cost is $80 per player for 12 hours of training - 9am to 4pm each day.  The instructors will teach skills and drills to enhance fastpitch players abilities and coaching/association knowledge throughout the clinic.  These skills will encompass batting, proper fielding and throwing techniques for infield and outfield positions,  and baserunning. Coaches are welcome to attend and/or assist at no charge.

Each participant will be assessed for their own individual level of the “Colour Your Dream Incentive Program”  which is essentially a competency/skill assessment program used to create individual development plans targeted at each players specific competency as it relates to the measurable goals of the LTPD.

Each participant will receive a t-shirt the colour of the level they have achieved.
