Marlin Novices snag first gold of the season
Father’s Day ended with an exciting game as the Palmerston Marlin Novice team won its first gold medal of the season.
The girls defeated Whitby 4-3 to start the tournament on the afternoon of June 19, before defeating Oakville 3-1 and losing to Brampton and Kitchener.
This sent the team to the B pool on Sunday where the girls beat Enniskillen and Vaughn and then won the gold medal game against Napanee.
The team is travelling to Toledo, Ohio this weekend.
