Maranatha Christian School students join Fergus Lions for roadside cleanup
Cleanup crew – Cold and rain did not deter the Fergus Lions Club’s semi-annual roadside cleaup on Oct. 15. The Lions welcomed staff, students and parents from Maranatha Christian School who chipped in with the effort to clean up trash and litter along Highway 6. The Lions Club extends thanks to courteous drivers for providing space for students and staff to work safely. The Tim Hortons on Tower Street South in Fergus provided treats to students at the end of the cleanup, and Cora and Elliot Bus Lines donated a bus.
