Mapleton supports local health care recruitment efforts
Recruitment contribution – Mapleton Mayor Gregg Davidson presented the Minto Mapleton Health Professional Recruitment Committee with a $10,000 cheque on behalf of the township on May 16. The contribution shows Mapleton’s support for local health care recruitment efforts, officials say. The money will go to support the committee in its ongoing efforts in recruiting doctors and other health care professionals to the Minto-Mapleton area. “This past year has been challenging for our rural hospital staff, and physicians, as our communities continue to experience a high need for health care staff,” committee officials stated. The committee hopes the continued support of the township and community will entice physicians and health care professionals to choose Minto-Mapleton as a place to live and work.
