Manes, William Harold; Suddenly at home on Friday, December 30, 2011. Harold Manes of Rockwood in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Madeline (nee Oldham). Loving father of David (Debbie) Manes, Dan (Diane) Manes, Karyn (Dan) Moon, Kelli Manes (Dan Hall) and predeceased by Dennis (2008). Cherished grandfather of David Jr., Becky, Brandon, Greg, Matthew, Brynn, Devon, Raely, Samantha, Alannah, Riley and Rane. Great-grandfather of Olivia, Charlotte, Emily and Helayna. Sadly missed by his brothers Tom (Donna) and Dave (Marnie) and sisters Jean (the late Stu) Dryer and Pat (Bill) Dawkins and many nieces and nephews. He is already missed by his faithful friend “Bella”. Rested at the Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main St. S., Erin, where a Memorial Service took place on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 11am. Visitation was on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or any charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
