GUELPH – Howie Mandel is coming to the River Run Centre on Nov. 3 at 7pm on the main stage.
Well known for his current work on the hit television programs America’s Got Talent and Deal or No Deal, Mandel also recently returned to his standup roots with the Showtime comedy special Howie Mandel Presents: Howie Mandel at the Howie Mandel Comedy Club, his first solo special in 20 years.
Mandel’s numerous other credits include starring in the current Nat Geo Wild Series Animals Doing Things, serving as creator and executive producer of the Emmy-nominated animated children’s series Bobby’s World and hosting his own syndicated talk show, The Howie Mandel Show.
Mandel’s performance as Dr. Wayne Fiscus on television drama St. Elsewhere from 1982 to 1988 helped make him a household name across North America.
Known for promoting positive views about mental health, Mandel in 2009 released his book Here’s the Deal: Don’t Touch Me, a frank, funny and no-holds-barred memoir revealing his ongoing struggle with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
