Man seriously injured in June 11 workplace accident
On June 11 at about 4pm, emergency crews responded to a serious workplace injury on York Street in Elora.
Initial reports indicated a 27-year-old male had sustained serious trauma to his right hand while operating a mill.
OPP as well as Centre Wellington Fire Rescue and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Services attended and treated the patient.
He was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries and then airlifted to a trauma centre.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
