Man faces weapon charges
MOUNT FOREST - On May 18 at about 6:20pm Wellington County OPP officers responded to a report of someone waving a firearm on Main Street here.
Police say officers located a man matching the description who was carrying a sawed-off pellet gun under his jacket.
The man was taken into custody and the weapon was seized.
Spencer Charles Lovell, 21, of Wellington North, was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
He is to appear in Guelph court on July 31.
