Man charged with impaired driving causing death
A Minto man is dead and a Wellington North man charged with impaired driving causing death following a serious crash here.
On April 6 at 8:30pm emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle collision on Perth Road 131. Perth County OPP officials say the driver was assessed at the scene and the passenger was pronounced dead.
The deceased was identified as Gary Kuepfer, 24, of Minto.
The driver, Carl Kuepfer, 20, of Wellington North, was charged with impaired driving causing death and driving with more than 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood in his system causing death. He was held for a bail hearing.
