Major upgrades planned for Frederick Street

Well­ing­ton North Works Superin­ten­dent Gary Williamson says major upgrades are in the works for Frederick Street in Arthur.

On Sept. 14 he said a meeting was held earlier that day, and Triton Engineering is do­ing the field work this fall for next year.

By the time design and ap­provals are in place, William­son did not expect actual construction until 2012.

“It will be a full street re­construction from Smith Street (Highway 6) to Gordon Street,” beside the county buildings.
