Madison Galloway band wins Battle of the Performers
GUELPH - Madison Galloway Music performed three original songs on Sept. 7, to win Inspiration’s Battle of Performers.
This performance earned the Fergus-based band the opening act spot at Inspiration 2019, $1,000 cash, the opportunity to play one of their original songs on Magic 106.1 FM, and a commemorative T-shirt.
With this year’s Inspiration Guelph featuring Virginia to Vegas and Tyler Shaw, the opening act is a coveted place for any young musician.
“Madison Galloway and her band members are certainly up to the challenge, and I can’t wait to see them perform on the main stage at the River Run Centre,” said Inspiration founder and chair Brenda Gibson.
This concert raises funds for the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington’s Free to Grow Program, that provides grants for children to participate in music and arts lessons, etc.
Without these funds the children would not financially be able to participate.
Inspiration will take place at the River Run Centre in Guelph.
