MacLean, John Reginald Blair; Went home to be with his Lord on October 29, 2010 in his 85th year. John will be missed by his adored wife of nearly 60 years, Ruth (nee: Crimp). Loving and proud Dad to Ann (Paul) Allen, Ginny (Mark) Kennedy and Heather (Ron) Whitelaw. Beloved Grandpa to Kerri (Trevor) Sylvester, Joel (Amy) Allen, Yvonne (Andrew) Buck, Ellie Kennedy and her fiancé Andrew Bryenton, Dale (Cari) Whitelaw and Vicki (Seth) Wyga. Cherished great grandfather to Tyson, Ethan, Kiera, Mason, Owen, Hannah, Kennedy, Levi and Renee. John was always a leader with his local church and The Gideons International in Canada. Family received friends at the Central Pentecostal Church, 7674 Colbourne St, between Elora and Fergus on Monday, November 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm, and on Tuesday November 2, 2010 from 11-1pm. A funeral service for John followed at 1pm. Memorial donations to The Gideons International in Canada or Groves Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
