MacKENZIE, Lanore; Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace, Fergus on Wednesday, February 24th at the age of 95 years. Loving wife to Hec MacKenzie for 55 years before his passing in 1982. Also predeceased by her son John MacKenzie and infant son Edward MacKenzie. Lovingly remembered by her children Jim MacKenzie (Janet 2014) and Jayne (John) Patrick.  Special Grandma to Tracey, Kristi, Kari, Mark, Shannon, Jay, Robbi, Meggi, Jordan and Krystle as well as 9 great grandchildren. Also remembered by her brother Murray Halls. Lanore was predeceased by her parents Allan and Elizabeth Halls, her sister Flora Nixon (Halls) and brothers Jim Halls and Lorne Halls. Visitation was held at The Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church Street, Elora on Monday, February 29th from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. A funeral service took place in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm.
