Mackenzie, Dorothy; Following a lengthy illness on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, Dorothy Mackenzie (nee Grieve) of Fergus in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Mackenzie (2003). Loving mother of Mary Mackenzie-Mason of Fergus and Pat Mackenzie of Fergus. Dearest grandmother of James Mackenzie (Shawn) of Fergus and Beckie Mason of Fergus. Loving great grandmother of Avery, Sofie, Angus and Ellie all of Fergus. Dearest sister of Marjorie Heath of Chatham and Mary Croft of Rockwood. Dorothy is survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Pre-deceased by her parents George and Ella Grieve and son-in-law Mac Mason. The family received their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 280 ST. DAVID ST. S. FERGUS from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Friday. Funeral service was held in the chapel on Saturday, January 29th, 2011 at 1pm. Interment followed at the Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus.
