Luncheon held for local veterans during Legion Week
Fergus Legion – The second last week in September was designated by the Royal Canadian Legion as Legion Week. A luncheon was held for remaining local veterans on Sept. 22. A smaller crowd was present this year. According to Pat Sulston, 13 have died in the past year. The nine veterans that were present were served a light lunch and had time to chat about bygone times.
