LUCAS, Robert Charles (Bob). Peacefully at Groves Memorial Community Hospital on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Joan Lucas (Fiddler). Dear father of Sharon Shipston (Andy) and Doug (Colleen). Cherished grandfather of Rob Cameron and Mike Cameron. Dear brother of Betty Eason (Paul), Jackie Rodgers (the late John) and predeceased by his brother Bill. Brother-in-law of Nancy Dorak (Werner). Fondly remembered by the Fiddler and Urbanski families and cousin Gordie Preston and other relatives and many friends. Special thanks to all the staff at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus for all their compassionate care. Friends are invited to a family Memorial Reception at the Erin Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 442, 12 Dundas Street East, Erin, Ontario on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 1 to 4 pm. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Bob in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
