MOUNT FOREST – A Masquerade Ball earlier this year raised over $153,000 for the Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital (LMH)Foundation.

The gala took place on May 30 at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex.

The goal was to raise $150,000 in support of a new ultrasound machine for the diagnostic imaging department at LMH, with a secondary goal to fund new vital signs monitors to refresh the hospital’s current fleet.

Over the past six years, the LMH foundation’s gala fundraiser has generated more than $733,000 in support of the hospital’s capital needs.

Foundation officials say they would like to extend a warm thank you to all those who helped to make this success possible, including event sponsors, donors, guests and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this year’s gala to fruition.

The date and theme have already been selected for next year’s gala, which will take place on June 12 and feature a “Night on the Nile.”
