Lottery winner from Erin

Congratulations to Anne Cross Erin who won $78,331.30 prize in the March 29 Lotto Max draw. “I’ve won smaller wins before,” said Cross, a 59-year-old service rep, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her cheque. She discovered her windfall after checking her ticket at the variety store. “I scanned it four times – I was stunned and shaking!” she said. The married mother of two and grandmother of four, plans on sharing with her family, buying a replacement vehicle, saving and doing some projects around the house. “Dreams that you think won’t come true sometimes happen when you least expect it!” she said. Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario Lotto Max players have won over $4.8 billion, including 63 jackpot wins and 558 MaxMillions prizes. The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Guelph Street in Georgetown.  Submitted photo
