Longtime firefighters Bramhill and Geiger retire from Minto Fire

MINTO – Two longtime firefighters have recently retired from the Town of Minto’s fire department.

Dave Bramill retired after 41 years as a local firefighter on May 1.

“Dave has always been the definition of a truly dedicated member of MFD having held many different positions over the years,” Minto Fire officials state.

Bramhill was deputy fire chief in Palmerston from 1994-1996, Palmerston fire chief 1996-2005 and equipment officer for a portion of 2008.

Captain Paul Geiger retired after 30 years of service on April 30.

“Paul has always been a quiet but steadfast leader around our Harriston Station. Congratulations Paul and thank you for your commitment,” officials state.
