LOKHORST, Nick. May 4, 1957 - Dec. 22, 2015. It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Nick Lokhorst. Nick passed away December 22, 2015 at his home in Desboro where he had recently moved to with his dear wife, Stephanie. Born and raised in Guelph, Nick leaves many who loved him dearly -- his most cherished wife of 25 years, Stephanie, his older brother Dirk (Anne), his 2 brothers-in-law, Rev. Paul Schallhorn (Rosalie), Brian Schallhorn (Sandra), his 6 nieces and nephews -- Emma, Erin, Steven, Trevor, Keegan, and Tanner. Nick is also remembered and cherished by his cousins in Holland. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his life will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 27 Mill St., Elmira on Sunday, January 24 from 2-4pm.
