LOCKHART, Violet Lorraine Passed away peacefully following a short illness, at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, on August 9th, 2017 in her 84th year. Loving mother of Nancy Ward (Wally), Deborah Lockhart (Jeremy), Lori Lockhart (James), Cindy Albrecht and Denise Caudle. Beloved grandmother of Eric, Joe, Travis, Jesse, Tyler, Lex, Max, Elliat, Hillary and Cameron, and great grandmother to Zac and Skyler. Survived by her brothers George and Ken and her sister Verna. Predeceased by her husband Eric, children Steven & Wayne, granddaughter Xavea and her brothers Edward, William, James, Harold and Norman. Funeral Service for Violet will be conducted at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Monday, August 14th, 2017 at 2:00pm, with visitation from 12:00pm. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus.
