Local tattoo shop presents first motorcycle show

ERIN – Erin’s Organic Art Tattoo shop is presenting its first motorcycle show, which will also serve as a fundraising event for The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

The community event will run on July 25, from 10am to 2pm, as weather permits, in the parking lot across from Organic Art Tattoo, at 95 Main Street.

Organic Art Tattoo owner and show organizer Dusty Scott said the event will be on a first come, first served basis for space for motorcyclists. All makes and models are welcomed, and entry is free for participants.

Donations will also be accepted to Ride for SickKids.

“It’s a good cause,” Scott explained. “There’s a group of us that do the SickKids Ride, so we just donate through that and it’s a good way to raise money for it.”

Scott is also looking to have vendors set up in addition to offering giveaways to people that show up.

He said to date, there’s been lots of traction with the event. This is the first time Organic Art Tattoo has put on the show, but Scott hopes it becomes an annual event.

“I only posted it a couple days ago and I already have, I’d say, 30 at least right off the hop that I know for sure will be there,” he said.
