Local resident speaks on charitable Water Aid program

MINTO – Local resident Dodi Reid was the guest speaker at the Harriston and District Horticultural Society’s meeting on Oct. 16 and she talked about the charitable Water Aid program, a clean water program for countries in Africa.

Reid has been involved in the program since 2007 and has raised about $160,000 to support clean water projects in Africa.

Water Aid Canada also supports clean water projects in other parts of the globe. Its motto is “clean water for all.”
