Local Lions Clubs hosted Centre Wellington Diabetes and Lifestyle Expo
Diabetes Expo - The Centre Wellington Diabetes and Lifestyle Expo was held at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex in Fergus on Nov. 24. The public was invited to attend and meet with medical professionals and diabetes specialists to learn about treatments, nutrition and new developments in diabetes research. One of those medical professionals was Loblaws dietitian Deanna Veloce (Zehr’s Fergus) who provided nutrition advice on healthy food alternatives. The event was sponsored by the local Lions Clubs and officials say it was well received.
