Local Royal Canadian Legion branches laid wreaths in memory of her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Sept. 19 as a state funeral was held for her in England. Present to place the wreath at the Palmerston cenotaph on behalf of Frank Lambier Royal Canadian Legion Branch 409, were: branch president Allan Toner, veteran comrade Marg Heinmiller, a 70-year member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch poppy chair Bill Dobson and veteran services officer John Grobbo. Local Royal Canadian Legion branches laid wreaths in memory of her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Sept. 19 as a state funeral was held for her in England.

A wreath was placed at 11am in memory of Queen Elizabeth ll at the cenotaph in Harriston by Harriston Branch 296 president Hugh Clunas and branch members Anne South and Brad Moore.
