Local floral shop wins quality award
Abby Rose Floral Boutique recently won an FTD Quality Star Award for the second year in a row.
The shop, at 11 Mill St. E. in Elora, was one of about 1,600 shops to receive the designation in North America.
The award is given to shops that consistently provide a quality product and exceptional customer service.

Abby Rose is also renting part of the store for Clean Slate Cosmetics and Skincare, a new business that is set up in the Veranda room.
Sharon Betton of Clean Slate is a makeup artist for Miss Canada, has a show on Rogers Television and was part of the team that won a Gemini Award. The store is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 5pm.
