Local composer, artists offer events paying tribute to work of Boxer
Local composer Peter Skoggard has set 14 poems by Asa Boxer (son of the late Avi Boxer, one of the Montreal poets with Irving Layton, Louis Dudek and Leonard Cohen) to music.
On Oct. 19 at 7:30pm the exhibition of artists’ works, together with a series of photographs will open at the Elora Centre for the Arts.
Skoggard’s concert will take place at the centre on Oct. 27 at 7:30pm.
