Listowel man charged with sexual luring of a minor
PUSLINCH – A Listowel man has been charged with sexual luring of a minor here.
Wellington County OPP announced on Aug. 18 the charge relates to an investigation started earlier in the month.
An 18-year-old resident of Listowel was charged with luring a person under 16 years of age by telecommunication and was held in custody.
“The name of the accused has been withheld as this case remains subject of a court ordered publication ban,” police stated.
OPP spokesperson Josh Cunningham told the Advertiser he is not certain who requested the publication ban.
Police have stated this incident is not related to another child luring charge in Puslinch, also announced on Aug. 18.
