MOUNT FOREST — On July 18, the Mount Forest Lions Club donated $17,150 to the Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital (LMH).

On hand to accept the donation was Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation president Scott Hartle and development officer Amy Van Huss.

“The Mount Forest Lions Club has been a long time, and very generous, supporter of Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their contributions,” said Van Huss.

The club has supported the LMH Foundation through several campaigns, including its annual gala and the LMH redevelopment and expansion project.

“Today’s gift has brought the Lions total lifetime contributions to the hospital over the $250,000 mark,” Van Huss said.

The Mount Forest Lions Club provided bar service for the LMH Foundation’s 3rd Annual Gala this past June, and with this donation, it has donated the proceeds of the bar back to the foundation.

The donation also includes the proceeds from the Lions’ recent grocery card raffle, as well as a year-end pledge that will be applied to the foundation’s general equipment fund to be directed to support LMH’s current highest priority equipment needs.
