Light Up the Park heralds holiday season
PALMERSTON – Palmerston kicked off the holiday season on Nov. 17 with its annual Light Up the Park event at Lions Heritage Park.
There was music, hot drinks, entertainment, visits with Santa and the Grinch, wagon rides, and of course, lights, including fireworks, at the event.
Both Minto Mayor Dave Turton and Perth-Wellington MP John Nater welcomed the crowd - hundreds strong - and encouraged people to shop local during the holiday season.
