Let's Get Hillsburgh Growing hosting a snowman contest
HILLSBURGH - Building the perfect snowman isn't as important as building the most creative snowman, which is the aim of Hillsburgh's Own Snowman contest.
The organizers behind Let's Get Hillsburgh Growing (LGHG) are encouraging residents to take part in a fun community event. People are encouraged to build their snowman creation, take a photo with it and submit a current JPEG file via email to lghgcommittee@gmail.com. Participants are to include their name, address and phone number.
Prizes for the best snowman will be announced Feb. 21, set at $50 for first place and $25 for second spot. The deadline to enter is Feb. 18, 2020.
