Leonard Cohen tribute coming to Elora Centre for the Arts

ELORA – A tribute to the words and music of Leonard Cohen is back for the final show.

The Spice Box of Leonard event is the third gathering at the Elora Centre for the Arts to celebrate the contributions of one of Canada’s most prolific and talented poets, who then became a world-renowned popular singer and songwriter.

From his first major public performance of Suzanne to his world tours in his 70’s, Cohen brought his music and poetry to coffee houses, huge stadiums, folk clubs and festivals and psychiatric hospitals. He performed sold out concerts across the world.

When playing one of these concerts in London, England, he said “When I was last on this stage, I was sixty years old – just a kid with a crazy dream.”

On Nov. 7 from 7 to 10pm at the Elora Centre for the Arts, musicians and writers share their talents to remember the body of work of Leonard Cohen.

The tickets are $10 and only available at the door.
