LEITCH, Lila Margaretta (nee Bayne). Peacefully on May 2, 2017 at her home after a lengthy illness. Lila was the beloved wife of Malcolm “Mac” for 64 years, loving mother of Katherine of Fergus, Aleck (Mary) of Drayton, Donna Cordingley (the late Bob) of Mississauga, Francis “Sam” of Hillsburgh, Ross (Natalie) of Hillsburgh, the late John Elgin (1956), David (2010) (Helen) and Muriel (1980), adoring Gramma to 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends were invited to Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main Street, South, Erin on Thursday May 4, 2017 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday May 5, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Funeral Service for Lila took place on Friday May 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Interment at Coningsby Cemetery will take place at a later date. Donations in Lila’s memory can be made to Hospice Wellington or The Canadian Lung Association or charity of one’s choice.
