Legion Week events planned at Centre Wellington branches
CENTRE WELLINGTON - Legion branches in Fergus and Elora have planned a number of events for Legion Week, Sept. 18 to 24.
Elora Branch 229 is hosting an open pool drop-in evening on Sept. 21, beginning at 7pm. The event features music by Great Big Caesar.
Sept. 23 is Veteran’s Appreciation Day at the branch, with live music at 2pm and 8pm.
A barbecue is planned for Sept. 24 at 3pm.
At Fergus Branch 275 a bike show and shine is slated for Sept. 18 from 10am to 4pm.
Sept. 20 is Cribbage Night beginning at 7pm.
Member Appreciation Day is set for Sept. 21, with food from 2 to 5pm and a general meeting at 7:30pm.
A Veteran’s Social is planned for Sept. 22 from 2 to 4pm.
L.A. Bingo is also on the schedule for Sept. 22 at 7pm.
Sept. 23 will be Friday Fun Night for members and guests, beginning at 4pm.
