Legion receives portion of proceeds

Community donation - Grand River Mustangs Girls Hockey Club recently presented a cheque for $1,000 to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 275 Fergus for its help in hosting the inaugural Remembrance Day Classic girls hockey tournament in November. “Forty-six teams participated and got very involved with the theme of Remembrance, which was ever present throughout the weekend,” officials say.
