Legion branch holding barbecue, concert, dance
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 234 is holding a pig roast this Friday.
The second annual event will feature country performer Brett Baker. He is back on the road with a one-man show entitled Stealin' The Covers., where he covers famous songs from Elvis Presley, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith and other artists.
Tickets are $20 per person (and the dance is $5).
The dinner includes roast pork, baked potato, baked beans, coleslaw, and all the fixings, and desert is included.
The barbecue is at Guelph Legion, 919 York Road. The social starts at 6pm, and dinner is at 7pm, with the dance running 8pm to midnight.
